Mellow Songs From the 60’s
by Christina Gregoire
I feel like putting together a list of quiet, peaceful songs from the 60's that I seldom hear anymore. Normally, I'm a heavy metal (old-school Cream and Hendrix) kind of gal, but today I'm trying to get over a migraine, so I decided that Purple Haze wouldn't be good medicine.
Here's a list of some groovy songs that put my head in a good place when I'm stressed out:
- Sally Go Round the Roses
- Sitting on the Dock of the Bay
- She's Not There
- Summer Rain
- Elusive Butterfly
- Walk Away Renee
- Love is Blue
- As Tears Go By
- The Green Leaves of Summer
- I'll Never Find Another You
- Where Have All the Flowers Gone
- A Summer Song
Hope you're feeling nice and mellow and all 60's all over. If you want to add anything, leave a comment in the bottom of the page or give us a Google Plus. Peace.
